Accounts Assistant

Your main responsibility will be to help maintain the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions for the Company across multiple entities and to assist the wider accounting team with month-end and ad hoc reporting.

What you’ll be doing
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Cash and Credit Card Allocations for multiple entities
- Processing of refund requests and query resolutions
- Managing payment enquiries relating to sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Posting journals and reconciling accounts
- Raising Internal invoices
- Ensuring all items in the bank are appropriately followed up, posted and the unallocated cash account is reviewed regularly
- Processing supplier invoices and employee expense claims, and executing monthly supplier payment runs
- Ensuring prompt and effective responses to inbox communications
- Liaise with other departments, auditors, and external partners as required.
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:
- Positive attitude and aptitude for change.
- Ability to build mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Able to communicate with people of varied knowledge via face-to-face meetings, over the telephone and in writing.
- Efficient administrative skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‐task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
- Experience using Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ax Dynamics, Administrate, Salesforce and Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is beneficial.
How will this process work?
The interview process for this position will consist of the following stages:
- 1 stage competency style interview with two team members – discussing the role and your experience
