What you’ll be doing

 

This role plays a key part in ensuring apprenticeship programme compliance and funding integrity through effective monitoring, collaboration, and process development.

 

As such, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Work with Head of Apprenticeship Compliance and Funding Manager on the Management and resolution of PDSAT and FRM reports
  • Monitoring apprenticeships regulatory changes and reporting changes to the Head of Apprenticeship Compliance including, interpretation and action planning for all changes that will impact the business.
  • Contribute to the development of new systems, processes and procedures - will require an understanding of the regulatory and policy requirements of the apprenticeship industry
  • To assist in inducting and training relevant staff with regard to the regulatory policies and procedures
  • Assist in DfE contracts performance meetings
  • Provide monthly updates on all entities to the Head of Apprenticeship Compliance on performance against KPI, including the collation and analysis of performance data against national benchmarks
  • Complete compliance audits at various stages of the learner journey to ensure compliance and central processed are being followed
  • Documenting any non-compliance actions and share with appropriate business area to rectify and re-auditing any actions
  • Assist the Head of Apprenticeship Compliance with preparation and execution of successful ESFA audits
  • Undertake any other duties as required by the Head of Apprenticeship Compliance and as may be reasonably expected with the post.

 

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

  • A good understanding of demonstrating practical and theoretical knowledge of this area of work
  • Experience of working with the ESFA funding rules and financial assurance audits
  • Experience of contract management
  • Experience of working and managing a compliance team
  • Experience using Microsoft packages and apprenticeship systems (PICs or similar MI system)
  • Experience of working with government educational and funding regulatory bodies (e.g. Ofsted/ESFA/DfE)
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to deliver key objectives within challenging timeframes
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in a similar or related role(s)
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and inspire people

 

 

How will this process work?

The interview process for this position will consist of the following stages:

  • A task to be completed ahead of the interview
  • Competency style interview with two team members – 60 minutes
