We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Assistant to join our Finance Team (Maternity Leave cover)
This is an initial 9-month contract- Hybrid working
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- All aspects of accounts payable including purchase order matching, entering invoices, liaising with suppliers and weekly payments
- Banking transaction – Ensure daily posting of bank transactions to relevant systems.
- Deal with supplier queries in line with processes and guidelines.
Accounts Receivable
- Deal with customer queries in line with processes and guidelines.
- Banking transaction – Ensure daily posting of bank transactions to relevant systems.
- Credit card transaction – Ensure daily posting of credit card transactions to relevant systems.
- Daily management of finance email box
Core Skills & Knowledge
- Accounts assistant with a minimum of 3 years accounts experience
- Excellent attention to detail and time management required.
- Computer literacy required, specifically Microsoft excel, financial accounting packages.
- Experience with BOI banking online, cloud-based accounting system and purchase order system highly desirable.
- Good communication skills and ability to work on own initiative.
- Team player with a high degree of flexibility
