Financial Services Apprenticeship Coach

 An opportunity has arisen for an engaging Apprenticeship Coach to work with students on our financial services programmes. You will help students set and meet their own personal targets, develop a growth mindset and also help prepare them for end-point assessment.

What you’ll be doing

 

In this role you will act as the primary support for students on financial services programmes.

 

As such, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Book and attend regular coaching calls and provide prompt feedback to assignments within SLA's.

 

  • Maintaining accurate records of student interactions and progression.

 

  • Ensure a high standard of written communication, demonstrating good spelling, grammar and punctuation.

 

  • Help students identify development areas, set goals and establish plans to achieve them.

 

  • Manage own workload and keep calendar updated.

 

  • Work with students as required to help them to successfully complete the programme.

 

  • Effectively undertake any other duties as required.

 

 

What experience you’ll need

 

To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

 

  • Experience working within financial services or any FCA regulated organisation

 

  • Experience coaching or training others.

 

  • Experience providing developmental feedback.

 

  • Working under pressure to meet deadlines

 

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

  • Problem solving skills and proven ability to work autonomously. 

 

  • Confident with written communication and a high standard of spelling, grammar and punctuation.

 

 

How will this process work?

 

The interview process for this position will consist of the following stages:
 

  • Competency style interview with two team members – 60 minutes
