Healthcare Lecturer 

BPP School of Healthcare and Nursing is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Healthcare Lecturer to contribute to the delivery, development, and enhancement of our academic programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic healthcare professionals with a strong leadership background and a passion for education to shape the future of healthcare training in higher education.

In this role, you will undertake a variety of duties including, teaching and training activities, curriculum and content design, assessment development and marking, personal tuition and student cohort and group management.

What You'll be doing.

  • Prepare and deliver a high-quality learning experience following pre-prepared content as well as assessing students work in a marking capacity
  • Maintain a sophisticated understanding of the current skills and capability requirements of the Healthcare industry, as well as key health developments
  • Create, update and develop module content in line with university content creation policies and quality standards
  • Ensure that students are appropriately supported and provided with timely and constructive guidance for their academic development
  • Ensuring that all academic policies and procedures of the BPP University are adhered to
  • Bring professional and practitioner expertise with an understanding of the current healthcare landscape to the development and delivery of programmes
  • Working closely with Operational Teams and Module Leaders to deliver an exceptional and consistent student experience

 

What we're looking for 

  • A Level 7 (post-graduate) or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive professional experience in a relevant Healthcare role
  • Recent and up to date clinical practice
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work well in a team and be collaborative
  • Digital literacy
