Marking Executive

You will to join the Professional Qualification team as a Marking Executive.
Professional Qualifications Course Operation team who dedicates their day to day operation making sure that the marking results for the BPP learners are accurate and uptodate. Ensuring that the marked exams are logged onto the tracking spreadsheet, making sure that markers and learners all experience a first class service.

What you’ll be doing
In this role you will process exams making sure the markers have the correct exams and input the correct grades in to the online learning platform Moodle. Making sure to liaise with the markers and book in marking time in advance and makings sure to have regular updates and communications with both markers and BPP learners.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing a high standard of service with calls, emails and written correspondence received from learners and markers to provide a solution in a timely manner.
- Working with managing database and making sure that the marks are uploaded to Moodle
- Assist with monthly invoice processing for markers. Take on other team members’ responsibilities as required during periods of staff shortage.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as instructed by your line manager. Some weekend work and overtime will be required based on exam/marking schedule.
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written,
- Previous administrative experience and a genuine interest in helping our students
- Computer literacy of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Ability to work as a team player and on own initiative
- A clear telephone voice with a polite, tactful, and friendly attitude
- Well organised and self-disciplined, with the ability to work quickly and calmly under
