Job Introduction
The successful implementation of growth and change strategies across Australia and South-East Asia, including post-acquisition integration. Reporting to the regional CEO, the role will ensure the effective execution of the regional business plan and strategic objectives by aligning processes, systems, and culture whilst driving innovation, synergies and sustainable growth in Australia and South-East Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management and Transformation
- Oversee regional operations in coordination with the CEO and CFO, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial objectives
- Monitor, analyse, and enhance regional operational KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement
- Oversee transformation projects that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Drive cultural alignment and change management programs to support staff and student engagement.
Acquisition Integration
- Lead the regional execution of post-acquisition integration initiatives across Australia and Southeast Asia.
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Transformation team and region management to shape and refine integration plans
- Ensure seamless integration of current and future entities to optimise alignment and operational efficiency
- Develop and manage Day 1 readiness and post-close integration plans under guidance and coordination with group and regional management.
- Coordinate support function integration including post-close legal activities; systems alignment and shared service centralisation.
- Ensure alignment academic programs, student services, and operational processes across entities.
Growth Synergies
Deliver identified operational and financial synergies across newly acquired entities.
- Drive initiatives that enhance student experience and business performance per the OGSMs.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop new programs, partnerships, and market expansion strategies.
Risk and Compliance
- Identify and mitigate risks across integration and transformation projects.
- Development and maintenance of individual and consolidated risk dashboards measuring the annual plans for each business
Performance and Reporting
- Establish dashboards measuring progress and impact of integration and overall region operations in the 1 and 5 year plan (OGSM).
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and governance committees.
