What You’ll be Doing
As a Performance Support Coach, your day will be filled with meaningful interactions with our learners:
- Learner Engagement: Conduct five calls a day with learners, each lasting around 45 minutes. You’ll prepare for each call to ensure you can effectively monitor their progress and link their studies back to their qualifications.
- Target Setting: During calls, you'll set realistic and motivating targets to help learners prepare for exams and stay on track with their studies.
- Continuous Support: Serve as a constant touch point, providing ongoing motivation and support to help learners overcome challenges and succeed in their exams.
- Marking and Feedback: Assess learners' work, focusing on the quality of written English. Your feedback will help them improve their writing skills and meet their targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with learners and their line managers to ensure a cohesive support system, tracking completion rates and addressing any issues promptly.
- Motivation and Inspiration: Inspire learners who have switched from finance roles, using your experience and passion to guide them through their new career paths.
What You’ll Need
- Level 7 academic qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS or equivalent).
- Passion for student success and enhancing the student experience.
- Strong communication skills to build rapport and maintain empathy with learners.
- Proven experience in working independently and managing workloads efficiently.
- Self-motivation and eagerness to expand knowledge and skills.
- Collaborative team player mentality.
- Exceptional time management and organisational abilities.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
