Job Purpose

As a Project Manager, you will be joining us at a time of rapid growth and will be at the forefront of driving digital IT Transformation and other diverse projects within the education pharmacy sphere.

 

Key Responsibilities 

As a Project Manager, your role will involve setting up new educational products and apprenticeships, aligning project delivery with group initiatives and strategies. You will work collaboratively across the business to define and implement these projects, ensuring they meet the organisation's agile goals.

Your core responsibilities will manage the scope, financials, risks, timelines, and changes associated with each project. Effective stakeholder management is crucial, as you will need to influence and maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring that all stakeholders are provided with accurate and timely documentation, including project plans and regular reports, will be a key part of your role.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope, contributing to the growth and success of our organisation, ass the central contact for project-related information, developing strong working relationships across the organisation. Additionally, you will facilitate the successful handover and adoption of project deliverables to the operational business, ensuring a smooth transition and continued success of the projects.

 

Skills, experience & qualifications required:

  • Project management experience, or experience working in a project management office, or project management environment. 
  • Organised, methodical, with a very good attention to detail. Strong and adaptable communication skills are required. 
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work on own initiative.
  • PRINCE2 or APM are desirable.
  • Familiarity with methodologies and project tools such as APM, Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE 2, PMI and Microsoft Project are of benefit.
