Apprenticeship Adviser

The role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to help deliver and enhance a support model that provides excellent pass rates, student experience and strong operational relationships with our clients and trainees.


An opportunity has arisen for a positive, motivated and passionate individual to join the team as an Apprenticeship Adviser. You will be responsible for providing support to accountancy and tax apprentices and to liaise with their line managers to ensure apprentices have regular progress reviews, remain engaged and progress throughout their programme and ultimately complete the requirements of their apprenticeship on time

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will be responsible for;

 

  • Arranging, preparing for, undertaking and documenting progress reviews – the majority of these will be via Teams. 
  • Ensuring learner records are kept up to date 
  • Supporting and advising the apprentices and their line managers to ensure that they fully complete the requirements of the scheme
  • Providing regular communication to learners regarding their programme of study 
  • Working with learning support and safeguarding teams to signpost learners where required. 
  • Ensure key information is sent to students as part of their enrolment to their educational programme
  • Act as a point of contact for all programme queries from students, offering excellent customer service and issue resolution
  • Interviewing learners and line managers as part of onboarding process
  • Assisting with apprenticeship administration and queries

 

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you will need experience in a similar advisory, support, or customer-focused role — or transferable experience in supporting individuals to achieve outcomes. such as;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer-focused; driven to ensure learner satisfaction
  • Excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable managing a varied workload and adapting to changing priorities
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages specifically Outlook, Excel & Access
  • Work well within a team to solve problems collectively, making suggestions and using other people’s ideas and advice
  • Able to prioritise effectively and be able to manage several tasks at the same time
  • Customer-focused; driven to ensure learner satisfaction
  • Lateral thinker with a logical approach to tasks and problems

 

 

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to undergo Enhanced DBS Check
