What you’ll be doing

This position plays a pivotal role in coordinating programme activities, driving continuous quality enhancement, and fostering student success. It also supports collaborative engagement with internal and external stakeholders as the School continues to expand its provision.

 

 As such, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Overseeing the Continuous Programme Monitoring (CPMR) process, ensuring timely and evidence-based actions are implemented.
  • Monitoring student progression, achievement, and retention data to inform interventions and improvements.
  • Lead, manage, and support Programme Award Leaders, ensuring delivery aligns with BPP regulations, regulatory standards, and School priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Dean and other stakeholders on programme design, modification, revalidation, and enhancement.
  • Build and sustain relationships with practice partners, regulators, and professional bodies.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of programme delivery across all BPP sites.
  • Support the development of a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.

 

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

  • Understanding of UK higher education and healthcare regulation, including NMC, OfS, Ofsted, and apprenticeship frameworks
  • Familiarity with programme management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes
  • Proven leadership and management experience in higher or professional education
  • Experience of programme quality assurance, monitoring, and enhancement
  • Experience working within regulated professional education (e.g., healthcare, nursing, or apprenticeships)
  • Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support others
  • Understanding of academic governance and regulatory compliance

 

Qualifications

 

  • First degree in nursing, healthcare, or a related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc, MEd, or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Teaching qualification or Advance HE Fellowship (or willingness to work towards one)
