Healthcare Lecturer
Here at BPP Education Group School of Healthcare and Nursing is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Healthcare Lecturer to contribute to the delivery, development, and enhancement of our academic programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic healthcare professionals with a strong leadership background and a passion for education to shape the future of healthcare training in higher education.
Faculty will undertake a variety of duties including, but not restricted to, teaching and training activities, curriculum and content design, assessment development and marking, personal tuition and student cohort and group management.
To ensure consistency and quality in teaching delivery, all faculty members will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support from BPP. This structured development ensures alignment with institutional standards and promotes continuous professional growth.

What you’ll be doing
In this role you will deliver innovative and high-quality teaching and learning at postgraduate level that reflect the current skills and capability requirements of healthcare employers.
As such, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and deliver a high-quality learning experience following preprepared content as well as assessing students work in a marking capacity.
- Maintain a sophisticated understanding of the current skills and capability requirements of the Healthcare industry, as well as key health developments.
- Ensure that students are appropriately supported and provided with timely and constructive guidance for their academic development.
- Accurate and timely record keeping, with a focus on maintaining a working relationship between the Trust and BPP.
- Ensuring that all academic policies and procedures of the BPP University are adhered to.
- Bring professional expertise and an understanding of the current healthcare landscape into teaching and learning.
- Working closely with Operational Teams and Module Leaders.
What we’re looking for
- To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:
- A Level 7 (post-graduate) or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive professional experience in a relevant Healthcare role
- Recent and up to date clinical practice
- Excellent presentation skills. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
- The ability to work well in a team and be collaborative. Digital literacy.
