Job Introduction

The BPP School of Healthcare and Nursing is recruiting MSc Faculty to support the delivery and development of programmes across the school.  We are looking for highly motivated practitioners with a keen sense of the healthcare sector and a leadership background, who would be excited at the prospect of using their professional expertise to develop careers in higher education.
 

Faculty will undertake a variety of duties including, but not restricted to, teaching and training activities, curriculum and content design, assessment development and marking, personal tuition and student cohort and group management. 

All Faculty will have significant training and support from BPP for delivery to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver a high-quality learning experience following preprepared content as well as assessing students work in a marking capacity
  • Maintain a sophisticated understanding of the current skills and capability requirements of the Healthcare industry, as well as key health developments
  • Create, update and develop module content in line with University content creation policies and quality standards 
  • Ensure that students are appropriately supported and provided with timely and constructive guidance for their academic development
  • Ensuring that all academic policies and procedures of the BPP University are adhered to
  • Bring professional expertise and an understanding of the current healthcare landscape into teaching and learning
  • Working closely with Operational Teams and Module Leaders to deliver an exceptional and consistent student experience
  • Maintain and enhance CPD and scholarly activity 
  • Any other duties appropriate to the role 

What we’re looking for:

  • A Level 7 (post-graduate) or equivalent qualification;
  • Extensive professional experience in a relevant Healthcare role
  • Recent and up to date clinical practice 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent presentation skills; 
  • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload;
  • The ability to work well in a team and be collaborative; 
  • Commerciality
  • Digital literacy;
  • Self-motivation.
