Contracted 37.5 hours per week, based on a rolling schedule.

We’re looking for someone like you… 

We have an opportunity for a Microsoft Instructor based in the UK, able to demonstrate these skills, attributes, and technical qualifications: 

Desired Qualities & Basic Requirements 

  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)status (Active and in good standing).
  • Minimum 5 years working with Microsoft Products.
  • Minimum 2 years teaching/instructional experience.
  • Relevant Industry experience.
  • Highly focused, self-motivated, and flexible towards working hours.

Key Technical Certifications (Highly Desirable) 

Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data: 

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100)

Cloud & Infrastructure: 

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

Modern Workplace & Security: 

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)

Key Responsibilities 

  • World-Class Delivery: Deliver world-class training courses for which you must be certified/qualified to the standards required.
  • Continuous Learning: Continually develop expertise across multiple fields through personal development and accreditation activities.
  • Community Engagement: Develop peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking and engage with the community relating to your area of expertise.
  • Results-Driven Training: Train to high quality and organisational standards for delegates to achieve outlined objectives and pass their examinations.
  • Curriculum Enhancement: Liaise with other Instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and the wider education team to identify curriculum updates and enhancements. Create justification proposals for submission to the Firebrand Training Product Team to support learner needs and outcomes.
  • Technical Authoring: Employ Technical Authoring capabilities to contribute to the development/revision of appropriate curriculum, where necessary liaising on such activities with the SME.
  • Version Control: Work with Firebrand Product Managers to ensure that courseware, supporting materials, and Pre-Reading materials are appropriately maintained as current and version-controlled.
  • Peer Support: Support fellow Instructors and the SME in the adoption of new products.
  • Bespoke Solutions: Work with Vendor Partners and Customers where bespoke training requirements are identified to develop and deliver training solutions to their specification needs.
  • Internal Efficiency: Support the business in the conception, development, and maintenance of internal systems to drive efficiency and create a Centre of Excellence.
  • Administrative Diligence: Ensure all appropriate Education systems are updated with relevant learner information following course delivery, and provide feedback on learner engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Inclusivity: Implement and support classroom provisions for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
