Product Setup Assistant

Job Introduction

Here at BPP Education Group we have a dedicated Product Set Up Team that provides ongoing support to our Professional Education and Apprenticeships/Professional Development departments as well as BPP Universities. The team works across various systems and collaborates with business units across the company to collate course and Learning Material data to then setup and deliver sellable/bookable products on time.


 As the team continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for a detail orientated individual who possesses strong data management and organisational skills to join the Product Set Up Team as a Product Set Up Assistant. 

 

You will be responsible for supporting with the effective and efficient setup of products in our BPP Systems, maintaining our Product Catalogue and ensuring effective communication to the wider business on all related products.

What you’ll be doing

 

In this role you will possess a keen eye for detail and be a competent user of online databases and systems.

 

As such, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Assisting in setting up course/material products on relevant BPP systems, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure agreed deadlines are met
  • Processing any changes to capacity, location or date of courses, as well as any cancellations, ensuring such changes are communicated to relevant parts of the business
  • Answering queries both by MS Teams calls and emails from internal BPP staff
  • Maintaining accurate records of all correspondence regarding any set up related actions
  • Assist in any data gathering/manipulation activity as required to support the successful setting up of course/material products
  • Work with other Operational Teams to build data in systems
  • Responding to incoming queries, issues and other ad-hoc duties relating to Product Setup
  • Be able to trouble shoot issues and investigate system behaviours
  • Assist with various upskilling tasks for new starters

 

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

  • Well organised and self-disciplined with the ability to prioritise under pressure – sometimes to short deadlines
  • Able to build good working relationships across all levels
  • Able to work in a team and independently
  • Attention to detail with excellent data management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer literate with systems/database experience
