Senior Resource Planner

As a Senior Resource Planner , you will be responsible for the cost effective and efficient resource of the BPP programmes. You will be responsible for resource demands and maintaining key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. 

 

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities will consist of supervising and resourcing specific programmes to include allocation of teaching, marking, drafting, updating and design work across the Law School. 

 

As a Senior Resource Planner, you would be required to work with academic programme and support teams to ensure efficient communication across teams to students and faculty regarding class or tutor changes and pro-actively develop and manage the relationships. You will be responsible for liaising with Heads of Faculty as to faculty holiday requests.

 

You will assist with capacity management, analysis to identify growing or reducing resource demands and identify expertise gaps.

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working in a resourcing or scheduling environment
  • Experience of working with a resourcing system (e.g. Retain) 
  • Good knowledge of BPP's products 
  • Strong ability in using MS Office
  • Work well in a team and independently 
  • Good attention to detail
  • Great planning and organisational skills 
  • Ability to manage workloads 
  • Relevant experience of resource planning
