BPP Education Services Learning and Teaching team is a group-wide business unit specialising in supporting education across the BPP group. The Programme Support Officer will be responsible for facilitating the smooth running of the Learning and Teaching Enhancement team by providing consistent, proactive, high-quality administrative support.
The Learning and Teaching Team support the development of learning and teaching through a range of mechanisms, including Advance HE professional recognition, a programme of continuing professional development for teaching staff, facilitation for colleagues to develop their scholarship and lead a specialised Post Graduate Certificate in Educational Practice for all teaching staff within the BPP Group (including international entities).

What you’ll be doing
The role will be primarily responsible for maintaining organisational administrative processes, including meeting administration, action plan tracking, programme tracking, timetabling, assessment results and maintaining a database of organisational files containing accurate records of the programme cycle. In addition, the role will provide administration support for the strategic growth of the business in academic CPD delivery, internal and external professional recognition schemes and awards and scholarship
As such, you will be responsible for:
- Administrating system module registrations for new and existing students
- Update student trackers and information following progression rounds
- Update student status changes on the student system Banner, in line with registry processes
- Support with online platform provision and grouping
- Creating and tracking surveys and data
- Support operational teams in the schools as and when required
- Administration of meetings in TEAMs
- Administration of LTE’s CPD programme and recognition scheme
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Able to work with large, complex data sets
- Excellent computer/IT skills including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
- The ability to work well in a team and be collaborative
- Strong numerical skills to enable you to analyse data
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work using your own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure, sometimes to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Have a strong desire and capability to learn new skills and new technologies
- Responsive and resilient to change
How will this process work?
The interview process for this position will consist of the following stages:
- 1-Stage Interview – Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a single interview with the hiring manager to discuss their experience and suitability for the role.
- Offer – The successful candidate will receive a formal offer following the interview.
